Elsa Joseph is an Airline Pilot serving as a First Officer for an Airbus 320 in a renowned airline. Since childhood, she has been passionate about learning new skills and upgrading the previously acquired ones. 

Flying is certainly one of her passions and reading different genres and writing about them with her own experience the other one. She holds a master's degree in Sociology and a bachelor in Science. Most importantly a proud mother of a handsome little boy. Strongly believes in the power of the Universe.

Few things to know about me... It's my first blog ever, I'm an introvert and making a bold move by writing this blog to step out of my cocoon. As a mother myself, I've been through this phase. My baby is now 6 months old. So I thought of sharing my list of essential items with you which you may find helpful as you prepare to bring your newborn home. For ease, let's look at different phases and the essential items you need to purchase. Hospital bag:  Now, a couple of weeks before your due date, it's a good idea to pack your hospital bag so you are all ready to go when the time comes. Check with your doctor to see how many nights you expect to be in the hospital. Aside from the personal items and clothing you'll need for yourself, there are a few things you really need to pack for your baby. A time like never before. No one ever thought that there will come a time when all will be forced to sit at home.  For many this is the time of great confusion, grief, unemployment but for others who are expecting its the time of joy and immense pleasure as a child brings joy to our life The nature somehow finds it's way to strike balance. Lot of friends in my inner circle are expecting too and along with this comes the interesting discussion the old wives' tales . So I thought of sharing my experience with you all. Though I would like to clarify that this is far away from being scientifically true and there's no guarantee that you'll have a boy or a girl. As mother's love knows no bounds, girl or a boy the love of mother is above all that for her baby. So on a lighter note lets begin.. Myth no.1:  If you have too much nausea, you're carrying a girl.  Reality: I had nausea the entire 9 months. I didn't just have morning sickness, it was sickness whole day.
